Pain Management

One of the best ways to treat pain is with regular acupuncture treatments and consecutive acupuncture treatments. Acupuncture can release the tightened muscle fibers from a tense and shortened position.

When injury happens, muscles tense up, pull on neighboring structures causing pain and tend to remain that way.  Inflammation happens as your body is trying to solve the problem.   Needles are inserted into acupuncture point and stimulated, releasing the muscle and the tension on the surrounding structures and tissues, blood circulates more freely, nerves signaling pain to the brain are actually 're-wired' and healing can begin.  This technique is combined with the more traditional whole-body acupuncture treatment to relieve pain, reduce the need for pain medication, and get you back to the activities you love.
